Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by March 24th, 2025 by visiting the RSVP section so we can get an accurate headcount!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes! The dress code is summer formal as we would love for everyone to get all dressed up with us! Please refer to the Dress Code section for more information.

Can I bring a guest?

All invited guests will be listed on your formal invitation. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate our closest friends and family. Thanks for understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, this is an adult only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

We kindly ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony! We will have a photographer present taking pictures of the wedding party and guests. However, we would love for you to take photos during the reception after and share them with us.

What Should I do If I can't make it?

We understand that asking guests to go overseas is a lot, and while we so badly want you all there, we understand if you cannot attend. We just appreciate that you support and love us, you will be greatly missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets in the RSVP section so we can plan accordingly.

What will the weather be like?

July in Greece can be very hot! Though it is hot, the heat is very different from the States since it is typically less humid. Since we will be on the water, once the evening hits it gets breezy and comfortable!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and reception are both outdoors.

How long should I plan to stay in Kefalonia?

We recommend arriving in Kefalonia at least 2 days before the wedding! This way, you have time to adjust to the time difference, relax a bit before the big day, and can participate in our pre-wedding festivities! Our recommendation to enjoy all wedding activities is to stay July 21st through July 26th.

Do I need a passport?

Yes! You must have a valid passport to travel from the United States to Greece. As a general rule, passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States. If you do not have a passport and plan on attending our wedding you will need to apply for one. Please know that it can take up to 6 weeks for your passport to come in after retrieving copies of the documents needed to apply. Here is a link to the U.S. Department of State website that will bring you directly to the application and/or renewal information for U.S. Passports.

When should I book my flight to Greece?

We highly recommend tracking prices and booking ASAP! Since our wedding is during peak season in Greece, flights will book quickly.

When should I book my flight to Kefalonia?

Traveling from the U.S. to Kefalonia will require at least two flights. First, a flight from the U.S. to Athens (ATH). Second, a flight from Athens (ATH) to Kefalonia International Airport (EFL). We highly recommend booking ASAP as it's a smaller plane that fills up quickly! Once your ticket to Athens is booked, this should be your next step. We typically fly to Kefalonia with SkyExpress or Aegean.

Will I be able to easily go to the other islands?

Absolutely! The wedding venue is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Kefalonia Airport, making it incredibly easy to catch flights to nearby islands and other parts of Europe! We highly recommend exploring stunning popular destinations like Paros, Crete, Milos, and, of course, Santorini for its breathtaking views. Additionally, there are two ports nearby, Poros and Sami, where you can catch ferries to various islands. To book ferries, you can visit the official websites of the ferry companies operating in Greece, such as Blue Star Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, or SeaJets, where you can check schedules, availability, and make reservations hassle-free. Safe travels and enjoy your island adventures!

CAN I FLY FROM KEFALONIA TO ATHENS AND THEN FLY HOME IN THE SAME DAY?

No! While it's possible to fly into Athens and then to the Kefalonia the same day, the reverse is not. This is due to the fact that flights from Kefalonia to Athens often get delayed so we don't recommend booking both flights for the same day. Instead, fly back to Athens and stay a night before flying home. And if you have some extra time in Athens, we promise the hike up to the Acropolis is totally worth it!

I have more questions, who can I contact?

If you have any questions regarding hotels, travel, location, etc. please feel free to contact the Bride herself! 862-812-5417
